Community Hall in Galgate village. Good sized hall with sound system, other meeting rooms & toilets all at ground level. Kitchen facilities & equipment for a range of activities. Football & cricket fields. Access road difficult, good sized car park.
Lovely new build. Good parking, off the main road. Great grass area for children to play or football game. Can hire bouncy castle. Bar in the hall. Great venue for parties.
Quite a good large usable hall area. It has a small licenced bar, and some catering capabilities.

It rained 🌧 all day, but this doesn’t dampen my rating for this course. What a setting, from the club house being a castle, to all the amenities, what a great place. The course itself was in fantastic condition despite the rain, from tee too green. I would really like to play again in better conditions, as the tricky greens would be even trickier. All in all a lovely place to play golf.
Top golf course, not played for 15/20 years, lush fairways and semi ruff, a joy to play, fantastic layout, good pro shop, awesome castle Clubhouse, very good staff. Just go, it’s a real pleasure.
Gem of a course in a really nice setting. Never felt more welcome from members who to a man made a point of saying hello with a few making sure I was on the right track. Only regret that I didn’t complete my round as it was so busy and I was playing(badly) as a 1 ball. Missed the chance to play the 18th which is a real stunner.

Lancaster should be proud of this wonderful building. Also sells delicious coffee and cakes (🤫) although the Cafe does shut early (at 4pm) and food stops at 3pm (crazy i know!) Has an outdoor garden I heard.

Lovely new coffee bar selling ales and locally roasted coffees, plus a beautiful wedding venue upstairs, and then there is a garden and locally (community) run orchard.

Stellar little public spot. The cafe has a somewhat arty/ new deco warehouse vibe. Great place to chill, work or meet with friends.
