Katie has just come back to the practise after being off on maternity leave. Katie was inspired to train as an osteopath whilst working in outdoor education and seeing its benefits amongst rock climbers. Katie graduated with distinction from the British School of Osteopathy in 2016 after which she enjoyed working in practices in London. Katie enjoys treating all ages and has recently completed a two-year diploma in paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre For Children. Katie works at both the practice in Milnthorpe and runs the clinic at Kirkby Lonsdale.

After a traumatic birth my 4 month old baby struggled to move her left arm because of what seemed like a stiff shoulder. I asked NHS advice but the main suggestion was hopefully she’ll gain the movement as she grows. Mary was recommended to me by a friend who’s premature baby had really struggled with reflex before their osteopath sessions. After our third session with Mary my baby was moving her arm fully and has never looked back.
Very professional service. Helped my back after just one session. I would highly recommend these osteopaths.
They diagnosed the problem and after four of five treatments the pain stopped.

I’ve had scoliosis for the last 20 years. Although the curves in my back never bothered me too much, I started to develop severe pain. I’ve been coming to Charles for several months now and through treatments such as acupuncture, massage and skeletal adjustments I see the difference in my back. The curves in my back are much less visible and the pain that was caused by scoliosis is gone. In addition, because I was a regular customer Charles gave me a discount which made it possible to get the treatment every week.
In my late 20s I found myself near bed bound with back pain. GP offered increasingly powerful pain killers but offered no solutions. 111 sent an ambulance due to severity of pain and lack of mobility. NHS would not offer any treatment or investigation untill 6 weeks of pain management.
Highly recommend Charles. As a massage therapist having a bad back doesn’t go with my role of helping others. I was convinced my time was nearing the end until Charles put me back together. So grateful to find a knowledgeable experienced person who is also willing to share this. A true teacher.

I’m so pleased I went to see Josh! After nearly 2 years suffering with awful TMJ pain in my jaw, he really helped me to relieve the pain and reduce the sensitivity there.
