Excellent table service post lockdown by Rachel, bar man Lee more than happy to go off menu and showcase his skills, order a Wait for it… If you’re after something that comes with a show and tastes incredible! Highly recommended for cocktail connoisseurs and those after something different and away from the usual crowd.
If you ever visit this place just watch how much care goes into making your cocktails, i didn’t get the mixologists name but he has a real passion for what he does and likes to see a smile on the faces of those who drink his cocktails.
I have been able to provide services, and enter as a customer to the crypt many times. I have values and grades of quality regarding service. BUT The Crypt is a really nice place to visit. In my personal opinion and experience, the service and staff have been brilliant, professional, communicative, reliable and trust worthy. BUT the atmosphere is great. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue. truly professional.

The first encounter from the door staff was refreshing! So friendly and welcoming! The drinks were amazing! And the prices were reasonable! Staff were helpful and professional. Very fast and efficient service. We were sat upstairs without a booking and they accommodated us greatly! The upstairs is very cosy and private! First time here and would highly recommend for a chilled cocktail experience.
Staff are really friendly, good cocktails and comfy, relaxed atmosphere.
Well done Tipple for featuring in the top ten Lancaster Guardian best places to drink list. I always have a great time when I visit. The staff are really friendly and the drinks are amazing. I recommend the Bergamot and Rose Martini. See you all again soon.

Absolute hidden gem! Incredible cocktails, fantastic service and lovely atmosphere. This was our second visit both occasions equally fab. It you like a cocktail I highly recommend this place.
Like all good cocktail bars, the majority of people should simply walk past, unaware of its presence, with only those who appreciate this kind of space, atmosphere and setting even noticing it. I love that it doesn’t shout about who it is, but doesn’t feel the need to hide away either.
Wish I could work here, drinks were amazing and the staff are so friendly and excited to figure out what you’ll like! Huge knowledge of obscure drinks and flavours for a good price, was worth every penny for the experience in there
