Lancaster has been the venue for the Lancashire County Championship on several occasions. Members and Visitors can enjoy the impressive, Grade 1 listed clubhouse, Ashton Hall that dates back to the 14th century and hosts 12 en-suite bedrooms catering for up to 18 guests.  Added to this are excellent dining facilities, a well stocked PGA Professional’s Shop plus a practice area and driving range to warm up. Lancaster Golf Club is a registered signatory to the R&A Women in Golf Charter, supported by England Golf.  This means we are creating a more inclusive culture, that encourages more women and girls to thrive in the game. It rained 🌧 all day, but this doesn’t dampen my rating for this course. What a setting, from the club house being a castle, to all the amenities, what a great place. The course itself was in fantastic condition despite the rain, from tee too green. I would really like to play again in better conditions, as the tricky greens would be even trickier. All in all a lovely place to play golf.
Top golf course, not played for 15/20 years, lush fairways and semi ruff, a joy to play, fantastic layout, good pro shop, awesome castle Clubhouse, very good staff. Just go, it’s a real pleasure.
Gem of a course in a really nice setting. Never felt more welcome from members who to a man made a point of saying hello with a few making sure I was on the right track. Only regret that I didn’t complete my round as it was so busy and I was playing(badly) as a 1 ball. Missed the chance to play the 18th which is a real stunner.

Amazing 9 hole course. Very good price and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back. Only a 2 minute walk from Ashton Hall Caravan Park. Perfect.
Great friendly little course in good condition . My father is a member and nip up a couple of times a year to play here.

Defiantly the number 1 Golf Course within Bristol, Henbury is a challenging parkland course bordering the famous Blaize Castle estate, accuracy is defiantly the key to scoring well.
A bit pricy at 45 pounds. 35 feels more realistic. Good course . Pay and play. Friendly staff.
Tight parkland course, nice greens.
