Not a huge choice, but the quality of service is excellent. Having been let down by one of the big chains, I was delighted to get a comfortable bed delivered quickly. A bit more expensive than the chain, but not hugely, and the bed is British made too, which has to count. They also sell good sheets.
Lancaster Bed Company is an excellent company. Mark and Louise go out of their way to help you choose the right bed and mattress. The shop has a great selection of beds and mattress’s to choose from with a great price range to fit your budget. Louise and Mark let you wander around the shop without putting you under pressure, but are there to give you advice and answer any questions you have.
I bought a mattress and pillows from Lancaster bed company in December. I had been to a couple of large chain bed stores before visiting here. The advice I received was excellent, very knowledgeable and didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need. I was able to try the mattresses and wasn’t rushed into making my decision.

Extremely impressed with the service. Turnaround from placing the order to delivery was 5 days. We were let down previously by a local company. We have been away for a week in the caravan and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend ordering a mattress from this company.
We bought a new mattress and bedding set from Jonic a couple of years ago. The customer service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble. We had a rather catastrophic roof leak over the bed last year, soaking the mattress and bedding. Luckily it was all covered on our insurance, and they once again supplied a wonderful mattress and bedding. I’d definitely recommend them and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I have asked Jonic several times to design and offer me really awkward bedding shapes. Each time they have not disappointed in producing well fitting bedding including fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. The great thing about them though is they always wash well and dry fast which is great when you are on an extended tour. We wouldn’t fit anything else on our fixed beds.

Brilliant Service from Ross and Team. Excellent advice in store, delivery guys superb and helpful. Local Company, pleasure to deal with – This is my fifth order now-I order all the mattresses for Castle Properties Lettings through this company and have been so impressed with their service – we have ordered one for ourselves.
We where looking for a bed mattress to fit our bed frame we had, only problem was that the frame came with us from NZ when we returned from 12 years there, and that is how old both items where. We went to the show room and where given really good service and advice from the couple running the place. We went away from the shop to consider the info we got from them.
Really happy with the service I have received at Bay Bed Company. Ross has been excellent. Will definitely order from this company again.
