What We Offer:

Sun Pizza is a student-owned and student-run Pizzeria in the heart of Lancaster. It was started by two third-year University students, Adam & Dec, with a passion and background in Italian restaurants.  Sticking with traditional ingredients, the dough is fermented for 72 hours before serving to ensure a perfectly airy and tasty product. The cheese is 100% mozzarella, and the tomato sauce is just like an Italian Grandma’s; simple yet deliciously authentic. We’re committed to bringing a simple and authentic, yet modern twist to the humble pizza.

SPECIALITY:

Rolled chicken breast stuffed with asparagus & scamorza, wrapped in parma ham. Cooked in a creamy chicken sauce. Sirloin steak cooked with green peppers, brandy, demi glace and a touch of cream

Excellent pizza, delicious cocktail, good vibes and fast but friendly service – what more could you want! The only issue was picking out which main to order – all of them sounded amazing. In the end I had to go with the Weronika pizza as it had (almost) my name on it. The cocktail is an Amaretto Sour, I believe.
Honestly the best pizza I’ve tried so far in Lancaster! 🍕They had the vegan cheese option which was amazing, and a great selection of cocktails – highly recommending the amaretto sour🍸 Overall a lovely hidden restaurant with delicious food and cosy atmosphere.
Excellent pizza, lovely staff. Meat feast was a winner. Box was well in insulated so pizza stayed hot while we wandered around Lancaster trying to get back to the hotel.

The best food my husband and I have had in Lancaster. The food was delicious and the owner of the restaurant was lovely and very friendly. I could not fault a single thing and we will definitely be back.
Forgot to review when we came a few months back, but the food was amazing! The atmosphere is lovely and it’s so nice to find somewhere with pasta made fresh! My pasta was incredible – can’t wait to come back.
Amazing! This Cafe-Restaurant has won awards since it opened in 2017, and it’s no surprise why. From the friendly staff to the beautiful food, it is a real pleasure to eat here.
